About Me

I enjoy working with cars, I hate when the cars don't work with me.

My 1990 Mazda Miata

A Na Miata was always my dream car and I was finally able to obtain a rust free Miata back in 2021. It had some issues starting around April 2022, but was thankfully only a fuel pump. The mods I have for it right now include: The MX-5 wink mod kit, Tien Flex Z coilovers, Hard Dog roll bar, aftermarket rims, and an exhaust system.  One of my dreams for the Miata is having it signed by Tom Matano, the designer of the Miata. I have recently started auto-crossing the Miata and its super fun.

My 2005 Monte Carlo

The least interesting one from the looks, but was a really cool project for me. I bought the Monte off someone who had a front end collision. I used parts from my previous car which also happened to be a 05 Monte to fix up this one.  She looks a little rough from the front but with only 67k miles I cannot complain.  I installed a double din radio with Apple car play to add to the comfort of the car. I have the wires in place for subs in the car I just haven't hooked the subs up yet becuase I don't want to lose my hearing even faster.

2000  Mazda Miata

This is my 2000 Mazda Miata. I bought it down in Texas. I want to turn it into a spec Miata racecar. So far I have bought most of the interior parts and hope to have the interior done by the winter.

Team 6570 robotics

In high school we had a FIRST robotics team, 6570. I was apart of the team from 2018 through 2021. I loved it so much I came back as a mentor.  I guide students through the engineering process to create a robot from nothing in about 60 days. My favorite part is seeing students develop ideas to make them a reality.  The team website is is available here.

Mars Auto Repair

A little business idea I started where I go around and do mobile car detailing as well as some light repairs. We go to other companies and detail their employees' cars in the company parking lot. It separates us from the other detailing places, creating our own little niche until we can find footing to battle it out with the bigger detailing companies. If you are intested or want to check it out here is the link.

Autocross

I have been autocrossing my Miata recently. Its very fun pushing the car to its limits. I'm surprised it has held up for 2 events so far. I'm not very fast and have a lot of improving to do. The car can use some upgrades to do better, but for now its all driver focused to improve the times.
